AICC: Aviation Industry Computer Based Training Committee

It is an international association for Technology based training professionals which develops Guidelines for aviation industry in Development, Delivery and Evaluation for CBT and WBT.
It was formed in 1988.

SCORM : Sharable Content Object Reference Model

Its a collection of standards and specifications for Web-based learning
It defines the procedure and communication methods between the user/learners and LMS. (Learning Management System). By the way, the users can share the common content (from host server) and they can also keep track of their progress on each stage of their learning.
It is a specification of ADL (Advanced Distributed Learning)
There are three version in SCORM. SCORM 1.1,1.2 and 2004.
First SCORM was tested in US Defense Dept as they were wanted a standard procedure for all their e-learning projects.
